Part 3 - The Fall and the Restoration
Overview: Restoration in Jesus Christ
Synopsis
The purpose of the law is to reveal sin and lead the way to Christ, who
said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me." To find salvation man must renounce the lifting up of
self that caused him to fall by choosing the way of the cross of Christ. The
answer to the rebellion of fallen man's heart, soul, mind, and strength is
found in Christ. The foundation of a restored relationship with
God is rest in the person and work of Christ (the Way). Upon this
foundation sits faith in Christ (the Truth) and a life lived in Christ (the
Life) by the Holy
Spirit. These three aspects form the all-encompassing aspect of the lordship
of Christ.
